What Gnothia is
Gnothia offers personalized digital readings and tools for guided reflection. Depending on the product, you supply your name, email, birth details, and answers about a situation. Gnothia calculates the chart information, then uses AI to write the reading and conversational responses.
Our products include the free Opening, one-time written readings, the Love & Relationship Guide, and separately priced Anam services and deep dives. Each product page and checkout should state the price, what is included, and how long access lasts. Your reading is not written individually by a human practitioner.
Owners of The Full Reading can separately order a personalized printed-and-bound edition from their private reading page. Lulu prints and ships the book to the address supplied at checkout.
What a reading is for
Use Gnothia for reflection and self-understanding, comparing its interpretations with your own experience because they can be mistaken. A reading cannot establish another person's thoughts, determine what will happen, or choose what you should do.
A reading does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice and cannot replace professional care. It does not diagnose, treat, or predict. Bring questions that need a doctor, therapist, lawyer, or adviser to a qualified person. You can use a reading to reflect on how you respond to a decision, while keeping responsibility for that decision. It should never delay or prevent you from getting the professional support you need.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, reach a real person rather than a reading. In the US you can call or text 988, any time.
Who can buy
Gnothia is for adults aged 18 and older. By buying a product, you confirm that you meet that age requirement.
Your birth data
Gnothia uses the information you enter to calculate your chart, write and deliver your reading, and improve how readings are made. Your information is not sold or given to others for their own purposes. The full explanation of collection, use, sharing, service providers, retention, and how to request deletion is set out in the Privacy Policy. That policy governs questions about your information.
The reading itself
Your birth data is yours. The words are Gnothia's — the reading text and the writing behind it are copyrighted, and buying a reading buys you a personal copy, not the rights to it.
What that means in practice:
- Keep it, print it, save it, return to it for the rest of your life.
- Share a line, a screenshot, or the whole thing with people you actually know.
- Don't resell it, republish it as a product of your own, or run it through anything that sells readings to other people.
The optional bound edition
A bound edition is made to order from the Full Reading already created for you and carries the recipient name supplied with that reading. Check the name and shipping address before paying. Printing and binding happen before transit, and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Once Lulu has accepted the book for production, an address change or cancellation may no longer be possible. If a book arrives damaged, defective, or incorrectly packaged, or does not arrive, write to gnothia.app@gmail.com within 30 days of its shipment date. The Refund Policy explains the remedy. Nothing here limits rights the law where you live gives you.
Paying
Prices are in US dollars. Checkout runs on Shopify, which handles the payment and your card details — Gnothia never sees your card number. Refunds have their own page, the Refund Policy, which explains the terms for each product.
When these terms change
We may update these terms for new products, changes in law, or corrections. The version published on this page applies from the date it is posted. An update does not change the agreement for a reading you already purchased; those earlier purchase terms remain in effect.
Where this stands
Gnothia is registered in Oregon, in the United States, and these terms are governed by Oregon law. If something goes wrong, write to gnothia.app@gmail.com first — most things end there. Anything that can't be settled that way belongs to the courts of Oregon.
