What Gnothia is
Gnothia takes the moment you were born and writes you a reading from it — astrology, Human Design, the I Ching, and related systems, all pointed at the same person. You give it your name, your birth date, your birth time, and your birthplace. It gives you back a written reading of how you are built, yours to keep.
There are three ways in: a free reading, The Doorway at $15, and The Full Reading at $49. Everything is digital and delivered after checkout. Nothing ships. The reading is generated by software with AI assistance — no one sits down and writes yours by hand, and it would be strange to let you believe otherwise.
What a reading is for
Reflection and self-understanding. That is the whole of it.
A reading is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care. It does not diagnose, treat, or predict. If something in your life belongs to a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer, or an advisor, it belongs to them. A reading can describe how you tend to meet a decision; it cannot make one for you, and it should never be the thing standing between you and a person trained for exactly this.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, reach a real person rather than a reading. In the US you can call or text 988, any time.
You do not have to believe any of it. These are old instruments pointed at you, not claims about the universe. The only test that matters is whether what they show you is recognizable — keep what lands, leave the rest.
Who can buy
You need to be 18 or older. Gnothia asks for intimate material and reflects it back at full strength; it is built for adults, and buying is your confirmation that you are one.
Your birth data
What you enter stays yours. Gnothia uses it to calculate your chart, write your reading, deliver what you bought, and to improve how the readings are made. It is never sold, and it is never handed to anyone else for their own purposes. The full account — what is collected, why, how it is used, how long it is held, and how to have it deleted — lives in the Privacy Policy. That page governs; this one only points at it.
The reading itself
Your birth data is yours. The words are Gnothia's — the reading text and the writing behind it are copyrighted, and buying a reading buys you a personal copy, not the rights to it.
What that means in practice:
- Keep it, print it, save it, return to it for the rest of your life.
- Share a line, a screenshot, or the whole thing with people you actually know.
- Don't resell it, republish it as a product of your own, or run it through anything that sells readings to other people.
Paying
Prices are in US dollars. Checkout runs on Shopify, which handles the payment and your card details — Gnothia never sees your card number. Refunds have their own page, the Refund Policy, and it says everything this one doesn't.
When these terms change
They will change eventually — new products, new laws, plain corrections. The version on this page is always the one that applies, and changes apply from the day they are posted. Nothing here reaches backward to change the deal on a reading you already bought.
Where this stands
Gnothia is registered in Oregon, in the United States, and these terms are governed by Oregon law. If something goes wrong, write to gnothia.app@gmail.com first — most things end there. Anything that can't be settled that way belongs to the courts of Oregon.
